I have just read in my local paper that gall stones can cause cancer?

Question: Does anybody now if this is true?

Answers:
They can, but it is very rare. Gallbladder cancer is possible, just not seen very often.

Other Answers:
Never heard that. I'm an OR nurse, we take out plenty of gall bladders for stones. I've only seen gall bladder cancer once in over 7 years.
