Have l4 l5 disc rupture right side had epidural injection now have pain and numbness in left leg?

right side disc rupture but after the injection still have numbness and pain in right leg but now the left leg has pain and numbness down to foot how is this possible where the rupture is on the right side affecting the l5 nerve right side am i crazy???

i had the same thing happened to me in 1979 and i went to the doctor and he x-rayed and found it
and all he told me to do was lay down on floor and put my feet in a chair and this [does] take the pressure off your back and also pushes the ruptured disc back int place.
so i think you should see another doctor for he shouldnt have given you a shot at all/even though it is painful /your body discs included should heal naturally.

also your left side control the right side and the right side control the left/
so possibly the more you walk around with back disc problems the greater chance of rupturing your spinal cord/therefore you could lose the use of either leg or both/so be careful and seek the advice of another doctor!

SOunds like you have what is call sciatica.. its a pinched nerve. Go to your doctor and they can gove you meds to help with that.
