Question:
<small>i actually got three on my foot and ones pretty big and i have no clue what theyre from cause my bio class took a fieldtrip to some garden places today. how can i tell if theyre poisoneous? they have darker stuff in the middle. is that poison?? fbdbhkjdbh HELP

Answers:
Well, If they were deadly poisionous by now you'd be really sick. That doesn't mean they couldn't be serious. How do you feel? Are you feeling sick, feverish, achey, nauseous, any vomiting? These are all signs of a poisonous bite. Extreme swelling at the site could also indicate a poisonous or venomous bite. In that case you should see someone immediately. It is unusual for 'darker stuff' to appear after such a short time, if indeed you received the bites today. Brown recluse spiders are one of the more common insects to cause a nasty wound but are usuually encountered in places like sheds, garages, tool rooms, places where there is not a lot of activity and good places to hide. They are not usually encountered in open spaces. Their bite usually begins with redness, swelling then pain. Discoloration at the center will beging to show up in a day or so and progressively get worse. The venom causes the tissue to rot and gradually increases in size. Often the redness and swelling and pain become extreme. Medical intervention is needed for anything of this nature. Any insect bite could become infected if not cared for properly. Were you shoeless today? Were you tromping around in icky dirt, stagnant water, or other places that harbor infectious vermin?. If so you may have an infection. Clean it well, you can soak it in some warm salt water and put some antibiotic ointment on it. If it is still red, swollen, darkening, or has red streaks going up your foot, you should see a doctor.
