No, it's not a narcotic but i heard that it is addictive???? I don't know how true that is? My dr. ordered it for me for severe nerve damage...............but i had to quit taking it cause it swelled my ankles and feet up like an elephants! That is one of the side effects..........swelling of the hands and feet.........
No and no. Lyrica is neuropathic (nerve) pain agent similar to Neurontin. It's generally prescribed for postherpetic neuralgia (nerve pain from shingles). If you have any further questions you should ask your physician. :)
