Do you know why this happens?

Question:
I work standing on my feet for 8-9 hours a night with only a very short break to sit down. When I get home my feet are (understandably) sore. But once I am off of them for a little while and the pain subsides a little, they start to itch really bad. It's from the inside that they're itching and I can't get any relief. Does anyone else experience this and do you know why it happens and if I can do anything to get it to stop?( I wear good shoes and take very good care of my feet.)

Answers:
Your feet swell standing that long its probably just the swelling subsiding. I used to have that happen as well.

Other Answers:
no I have no idea why that happens.

this could be athletes foot. that or the tension i the way you tie your shoes. you may be tieing them way to tight thus cutting out the circulation. this can cause your feet to itch from the inside. you may also be retaining a lot of salt. Probably a circulation problem. See a doctor of podiatrist. They may prescribe orthotics to put in your shoes. Also try an Epsom salt foot bath at night.
