What can I with my foot when somebody has rolled over it?

Question:
I was working one day and this other co worker accidently rolled over my foot with a cart. She went to move the cart out of her way but she didn't no my foot was there so she accidently rolled the cart over it. I haven't been to the doctor's office and it still hurts after a month and a half after the accident has happened. What should I do?

Answers:
Assuming you reported the accident to your supervisor when it happened, you should tell him/her that your foot still hurts and that you might need to go to a doctor.

Chances are, even if your co-wrokers backs up your story, that you will have a hard time proving the accident was work related unless you reported it when it occurred.

Most states do not require immediate reporting of accidents for the injury to be considered for workers' comp, but many companies have a strict policy about reporting accidents when they occur.

Foot injuries are long term injuries, meaning they take a long time to heal because unless you are confined to a bed, you constantly walk on them, delaying the healing process.
