What degree is considered a fever in a child?

98.6 is the standard-average body temperature; some people are lower or a little higher

if a child has a fever over 101, and are under age 1 take them to the dr. immediately
i think it is between 99 and 100 (like 99.6 or something)
when it gets to 100 call the dr. it is harder for a child to get the fever down then an adult so call the dr.
