Answers:
Once the body realizes there is a viral infection it goes into the antiviral state, which includes raising the body temperature, resulting in fever. The reason for this is quite simple. When the viruses genetic material is transcribed (if it needs to be) and translated into proteins by the host ribosomes, many of the proteins result in enzymes that act to make more copies of the virus to infect other cells. These enzymes are very heat sensitive, and raising the temperature they are in can often slow them down or even deactivate them completely, slowing down the progression of the virus. It is not always a good idea to take Tylenol or Advil the minute you get a fever, it is quite beneficial, and is only dangerous over 101 or 102.

I eat Ice Cream when I have a sore throat.
It makes my throat feel better and cool.
Do you mean if you're cold physically, or if you have a cold? If you're cold, eating colder foods will lower your body tempature ie making you feel even more cold. If you have a cold, eating ice cream is generally not a good idea because of the milk. The milk may make your mucus worse.
Hope that helps. I'm not leaving websites or refrences because heck youre on the internet you could just type it in a seach engine and get medical evidence.
It doesnt make a difference what temperature your drink is or ice cream for that matter.when my dad is sick he eats ALOT of ice cream and the next day hes better! I think that hot drinks just clear up your sinuses for a little bit. but cold drinks dont prevent you from getting better.
no it cant it wont get you all the way better but still just a lil bit
