Answers:
Do not use heat unless it is a very minor pull - better off using ice for 10 minutes on every hour. Using heat can increase the blood flow to the area, making it swell up like a balloon. If in doubt, always use ice.

Remember RICE:
Rest
Ice - 10 minutes every hour
Compression - keep it wrapped in an ACE bandage or neoprene wrap for support
Elevation - keep your foot above the knee, knee above the hip. This will help decrease the swelling.

If the hamstring is still a problem after a week, see your doctor and ask for a referal to a good physical therapist.

go on ur sofa or bed with a ice pack and heating pad perfirably bothe and if its ben more than 1 hour then ice pack turn on the tv sit and relax with the ice pack on it and take a muscle relaxer
put ur leg up and sit for a long time
