What do you do when you are nauseous?

Question:
I am very very nausesous and I can't lay down comfortably and sleeping sit up isn't that easy to do. Looking for ideas to get rid of nausea. I'm taking shots of Pepto-Bismal and that's not helping.

Answers:
I stop eating anything and just sip either coke or ginger ale. Just a little at a time. Don't resume eating until you've felt better 10 to 12 hours and then eat light. You could try the BRAT diet.
B=banana
R=rice
A=applesauce
T=toast (dry)

Other Answers:
soda crackers and some people say try cola.

sometimes flat coke works. Also try some crackers. Sniffing a lemon sometimes helps a lot too. The active ingredient in Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can help with nausea, and it will also make you sleepy which will help you get to sleep. You could try that.

Might be gas. Got any Gas-X?

i eat crackers,(sometimes hard to get down) and drink milk..

maalox helps me, saltines, ginger snaps (or ginger however you like) - I've been throwing up since february, my only relief comes from marijuana. Good luck! try to lay down and go to sleep and going to the doctor to see if they can give you a godd strong working medcine 2 help hope u feel better!

seriously make yourself puke

you will feel 200% better

Well you should first go see a doctor if you haven't already. Ask them for some medication that will help you from being sick. After that, try eating some crackers since they will absorb stomach acid. It might also be helpful to sleep while sitting up rather than laying down. I try to pay attention to my breathing. If Pepto doesnt work try Titrolac. you can buy it in Wal-mart near the stomach medications.. it is very good stuff! Works with everything stomach related.. we buy 4 bottles at a time!

Have done the sip on gingerale or coke.. also have tried the coke syrup that you can get at the pharmacy.

Get fresh air, regulate your breathing and try some of that Titrolac. you should feel some relief.

Good luck! nibble on saltine crackers and sip some sprite down
