Answers:
Don't let these people freak you out with the herpes virus.

Tons of people have some form of it, and a sore on your toungue/cold sore/etc. ARE varieties of it. Don't worry, it will go away on it's own.

It's mostly common in children. Just give it time and let it go away on it's own. Everyone gets them from time to time.

There the same, get a new boyfriend.

both a form of the herpes family Cold sores are usually caused by a variation of the herpes virus I believe..It's a myth that canker sores are caused by the herpes virus. I've read that canker sores can be caused by a ton of things including hormonal changes, other health problems and a ton of other things.

I could be wrong but a cold sore is a type of herpes that you might get on your lips and a cankor sore is inside your mouth and it looks like a crater. I am not sure though but I hope I helped you some.

i sware the people below are retarded. i spell horrible to so bare with me.

cancor sours are sours inside of your mouth, usually on your gums.

cold sores are on the outside of your lips. i dont think cancor sores are herpies, but cold sores are.

but about the bumps on your tounge.i have no clue what it is.i get them sometimes too. but they usually go away in like 3 or 4 days. i swish with salt water.

try it.

cankor sore is basically a cut inside your mouth, a cold sore is a viral infection usually caused by the herpies virus and usually stays to the outside of the mouth, use ambosol, it will numb the area and has medication to help heal it. its being caused because the sunflower seeds cut your tongue and the wound hasn't fully healed and the added salt from the seeds is reaggravating the problem areas. I had the same problem. stop eating them for a month and try a different flavor that doesn't have nearly as much salt They are the same thing. It is caused by the herpes simplex virus. It usually means that you have worn yourself down and your immune system is not very strong right now. The best way to fight it is to boost the amount of fruit juices and fruits and vegetables you eat, cut down on stress and get plenty of rest. A multivitamin might help too.

What you describe though sounds like a clogged taste bud. They can be very painful and make your life miserable for a few days. You can try to open it with your teeth by scraping it if you can stand the pain. You must really like sunflower seeds if you continue to eat them anyway. Canker sores and cold sores are NOT the same thing. Cold sores are from the herpes virus and cankers are not viruses and are not contagious like cold sores. If its not a big painful blister on your lip, don't worry about it being a cold sore. Canker sores are in your mouth (gums, inside of lips, or tongue) can be caused by eating foods high in acidity, like citrus fruits and trauma to the mouth (like biting your lip, cheek, or tongue. Also, there is an ingredient in toothpaste called SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) that doctors say cause them. My girlfriend gets cankers and she lights a match, blows it out, and lets it cool for a minute. Then, she puts the match head on the canker for about a minute. The sulfur is supposed to help heal it. It's an old remedy, but she insists that it works.
