Is it a good idea to give a spoonful of castor oil to a sick child?

Question:

Answers:
No! It can bring them to dehydration if they have a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. If they have a bowel obstruction, this could be very dangerous. Don't do this or let anyone else do it to a child.

Other Answers:
No on top of being sick you get diarrea. That stuff is nasty./
Castor oil was once used to help children who were constipated. My mother gave it to me once and it made me even sicker. It's disgusting. I would stick with normal over-the-counter remedies. Who has castor oil anyhow?
depends on what they are sick with if they are constipated yes if not no also dont give too much or it will make them sicker young kids only need a tea spoon
IT DEPENDS IF THE CHILD NEED IT OR NOT OR IF THE PARENT THINK IF THE CHILD CAN TAKE THE CASTOR OIL

SOMETIMES KIDS ARE ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN THINKS IF NOT SURE CALL YOUR DOCTOR AND ASK HIM/HER
NO...NO...NO. It is not good for them and really what in the hell were you thinking? News flash if he or she is sick then take the child to a doctor. If you can't afford it then go to the emergency room of a state hospital. They will help you and plus there are free clinics too...Good luck
Hey I know you try it first and see how you feel!
