What's that white stick thing in people's mouth?

Question:
I see quite a few people with this thin white stick in their mouth. On the end that isn't in their mouth it has what appears to be prescription strength written on it. I see this fairly regularly ( I saw 3 people with them today) but because Im worried it might be for an embarressing condition I dont ask them what it is. Anyone know what Im talking about?

Answers:
I know one person who uses a lollypop-looking thing that is actually migraine medication. I'm not sure whether there might be other meds that are dispensed this way.

Other Answers:
I have no clue.maybe it's some kind of new anti-smoking device.

What state do you live in? I am in Texas. I was gonna say a toothpick until you got all weird about the Rx strength. I have NO idea what your talking about. Next time u see someone with that I would totally get closer to their face and say "That's the 3rd time I've seen one of those today..what is it?" Who cares what they think. Ask 'em and then you'll know!
