Should I get a colon cleansing?
Question:
Answers:
Absolutely no! It is a needless procedure promoted by Health Gurus ,for economic reasons and has no scientific basis . The concept that you are full of unrelieved waste at any time or that you need to be "cleaned out " by the equivalent of cleaning your house plumbing with Draino is medically ludicrous but gets huge attention in the media . Save your "time on the table" for colonscopy which every one should have after 50 . Up till then , " if it ain't broke don't fix it ! "
Other Answers:
I've had a lot of enemas. I don't mind 'em, however, colonics are probably a bit more intense. You'll feel some cramping, similar to menstrual cramps, sometimes a bit more intense. If I were you, I'd do an enema first to get an idea how it will feel.
Save your money and buy yourself something nice.
It's a waste of time and money. Those old medical "rumors" still make a lot of money off people.
