Why am I losing my memory?
Question:
Answers:
Your probably suffering from stress and anxiety, and to neutralise the stress we tend to do more things and at a greater pace. If you have a family it may be that this is the cause of the anxiety. Go see your doc and ask him for something to slow you down. But please not tranquillisers. They are evil.

Well I have photographic memory, some people have memory that is better than others and some peoples memory is worse than others, its like the age at which you turn gray you will never know until it happens.
If your using alcohol or drugs STOP!! if not go to your family doc. and ask for a referral for a mental health professional. be honest with you /doc. about your problem, because your disc is full with my memory
Alcohol solvents weedkillers insecticides and lots of other chemicals have a bad effect on memory. Do you work with anything like that
Memory is fallible. We have potentially unlimited storage for memories but have a limited and error prone retrieval system. This means we have all this info in our memory but we have problems remembering it. We recall the wrong thing, we can't recall anything, etc.
As we get older we also start to have increasing memory problems. This may simply due to the sheer volume of memories that we have encoded. Older memories interfere with the encoding and retrieval of newer memories and is called proactive interference.
Stress can also affect memory, and people tend to notice that their memory is worse during stressful periods. This may be because they forget something important which draws their attention to their "bad memory". Stress can also affect how much attention you pay, which will affect the encoding of memories. If you don't encode the info then you can't recall it later. Alcohol also causes memory problems, and we may be more inclinde to drink when stressed. Drinking over long periods of time can cause long-term memory problems as metabolised alcohol is toxic to the brain.
The majority of people think that they have good memories, especially for their childhood. When challenged to provide how good their memory is they then realise that their memory is quite poor for the events of their own life. We therefore make judgements about how good our memory is based on how good we think our memory use to be when we were younger, and how good we think other people's memories are.
This probably doesn't really help as you may be looking for some definitive physiological answer for your memory problem. Keep an eye out for other symptoms and tell your doctor. There is probably very little they can do with memory problems as an only symptom, especially ones that have been present for two years (it isn't transient, but isn't moving fast enough for an early onset of a neurodegnerative disease).
hi its happening to me too.im 27 and the doctor put it down to stress.i hope your going to be ok,,,i know its hard but i try to write things down in case i forget.this has been going on a couple of years now.try writing really important things down.and if you can try to find a bit of me time im always being told that.best of luck to you.xxxxxxx We lose millions of our brain cells every day getting old,and other factors to consider which is also speeds up the lose of memory is by indulging in Drinking, smoking, Masturbating, sex and pollution is also a major contribution the lose of our memory. DO YOGA.MEDITATION.IT WILL IMPROVE YOUR CONCENTRATION...
DEEP breathing exercise would help your memory.oxygen is required for your whole body.start YOGA asap..this is my humble opinion There could be a lot of reasons, but one that comes to mind is PMS. Are your memory lapses consistently bad all the time or is it worse certain times of the month. Try tracking your lapses and see if there is a connection to where you are in your cycle. Fuzzy thinking can be a symptom of PMS, which can be treated with hormone therapy.
If this rings true with you, go to an OB/GYN or family practitioner that works with hormone optimization. I doubt your first doctor did a hormone panel when he looked at your blood.
