What do you call?

Question:
What do you call the upper left and right side of your neck? I experience pain frequently and when i touch it, it's kinda slightly swollen. Sometimes the pain is on the right, sometimes it's on the left and sometimes it is both.. Any one has any idea what is the cause and solution?

Answers:
could be you lymph nodes. possibly a cold, or illness that is causing them to hurt. an infection also can cause this.

TONSILS It sounds like your lymph nodes. They run up the sides of your neck.

YOUR LYMPE NODES ARE SWOLLEN. GO TO THE DOCTOR

Lymph nodes

Maybe they are your glands, they get swollen when you get sick sometimes. You may have broncitis or strep, thats what happened to me when I got sick. Is it right under your chin? I would see a doctor or someone who knows the difference. the first answer is right its your lymph node, and it gets swollen when you're getting sick

Go see your doctor..

Sounds like the lymph nodes. You should get them checked out by your doctor.
