Question:
Answers:
It depends on which part of your intesting that was removed. Depending on which part it was, I'm going to assume it was the part that absorbed the water. When you don't reabsorb the water you end up with diarrhea. Sometimes you may have diarrhea for the rest of your life due to bowel resection. Therefore, make sure you keep yourself well hydrated.

Are you taking stool softeners. Also depends on what and how much you eat and drink. I know that must have hurt my mom had two bowel ressections. She just stopped eating after that.
ITS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE HARD UNLESS YOURE NOT GETTING ENOUGH FLUIDS yes it is normal. because the food doesnt have time to just sit there. have you tried metamucil?
You really need to go see your doctor Hun. you mean its completely soft? Or what do you mean?
I would consult your MD, loose stool can be associated with lot's of things, intestinal and otherwise.
the poop must be flowing more easily around your intestine tubes since it is shorter
yeah its normal
you need to be asking this question to your doctor not to a bunch of no nothings like me here on answers. its probably becasue your waste travels faster now that your intestine is smaller, so it doesnt have time to get very solid, id say as long as you poop regularly its all gravy (pun intended) lmao
what part was removed?intestines absorb fluid from stool.have you asked the surgeon?make a call and do a follow up
It depends on which part of your intestine was removed.
1) Increase fiber (fresh fruits & veggies.
2) Eat yogurt with active cultures.
3) Go to health food store & buy something called "Kefir". 9 X more potent than yogyrt. Kinda' like a drinkable, mildly tart yogurt.
