Answers:
Go to the emergency room. You will need some stitches. Good Luck and be careful next time.
Ummm....you have whiskers....why do..she has whiskers.....people don't hhhaavv.....why..
do u have any peroxide? it will clean it out then if u have and ointment like neosporin use that theres nothing else u can do but keep pressure on it eventually it waill stop if not see a doctor cuz u may be a person who bleeds alot
go straight to the emergency room. keep pressure on it. have a friend drive you in case you pass out. you may need some stitches. sorry =(
Need more information. Did you just nick it, but found it wouldn't stop bleeding? You may have a low platelet count. Take the advice of the people who told you to put peroxide and then an antibiotic cream on it and keep pressure up until it stops. Don't forget to tell your doctor about it the next time you get a physical exam -- low platelets (the little cells that contain blood clotting factor) may mean some disease or a bad diet.

On the other hand, if it won't stop because you gave yourself a really deep slash somehow, follow the advice of the other people who tell you to go to an emergency room. Two or three stitches may be needed.
I DON'T THINK U NEED STITCHES UNLESS U WEND ALL THE WAY TO THE BONE .GET SOME ICE IN A PAPER TOWEL AND PUT PRESSURE ON IT. HOPE IT HELPS
It may be so deep that you'v punctured an artery in your finger. Keep pressure. Go to the ER. They may have to suture you up. Get it checked out, cuz you could damage the arterial flow to your finger and it could fall off. NO JOKE.
I have no idea how long you applied pressure but if it's still bleeding, you should head to the ER. Wrap the finger in a hand or clean kitchen towel and apply pressure uninterrupted until you're seen. When pressure is applied, it must be continuously for at least 5 minutes. Longer if necessary.
your question was posted 5 hrs ago. should have stopped a long time ago. are you taking any medications?

Apply pressure and elevate above heart level.
