I drank a coke 4 hours before my blood sugar test?

Question:
Will this completely mess up the results? Will it still give me my 'random' blood sugar level or would that have been a different test?

Answers:
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? HAVE YOU GONE COMPLETELY MAD?
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !

Other Answers:
I would ask the Person who is to draw the blood. Tell them or call if you don't want to drive. If the Doctor wrote for a fasting glucose you are screwed for today.
it will show on your test or w/e
yup it will mess it up.
there is a reason they ask you to fast before doing the test

the coke will have spiked your insulin and affected your blood glucose
Well
Your test will be invalid. Nothing but water for 8 hours (sometimes 12 depending on instructions) prior to the test.

You will have to try again.
should not eat or drink for 12 hrs before blood sugar test coke has sugar
. totally maybe yes-sir-rie whats your code named again
..watch out your health better be careful
If this was not a fasting blood sugar, you shouldn't worry. If you are not diabetic, the body would have metabolized it in 4 hours.
After 4 hours, I don't think it will have a serious effect on the sugar test, since sacarose tends to go high and low pretty fast. But it will mess up blood pressure tests, because of the caffeine, after 6 or maybe more hours.
Yes, it will. I think you have to fast for those which either means nothing to eat or drink or nothing but water. See what the results say, but you probably will have to get it redone. In the case that you may have high blood sugar, you'd better get used to drinking Diet Coke.
I'm a diabetic and the best time to check your sugar is before you have eaten or drank anything , but sometimes it can affect your results if you have.
