any of you out there have the same......?

Question:
i have been diagnosed with hellicobacter pylori. just finished a high dosage of antibiotics. can you tell me what is the proper food to eat with this gastric problem. currently i can only tolerate steamed food with no spices, no dairy products. i find it hard to eat bread. any clever ideas?

Answers:
Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that leads to damage to the mucosal defence systems of the GI tract. You should probably avoid too alkaline foods which can destroy the acid content of your stomach. try to take steamed food, neutral foods which do not ordinarily cause your stomach to turn.

Hope this helps. :D

i took the tablets for this also-they were so bloody bad so im ashamed to say i didnt finish the course- its 5 yrs ago and fingers crossed i havnt had any problems x
usually the doctor would write out a list of things you can and cant eat , you should have asked them before you left the office or call them up and ask them. but if you can seem to handle steamed foods then stick to steaming vegetables etc. , if you can eat bread or dairy products just yet ask your doctor if you can take multivitamins just yet and continue eating the steamed vegetables , but since your at it you may as well ask the doctor whats suitable for you to eat.
I had hellicobacter pylori.
was given a mega cocktail of antibiotics which made me feel terrible .
i had mine about 6 years ago, and would like to say something positive about the results, but i cant.
I still have probs with most foods so now i just eat and drink what i like and suffer.
If you ever find an answer to this please let me know.
I have had my probs in total for over thirty years
Good luck
