i've had it happen too. but only with the liquid. if i use the swallowables or chewables, it doesn't seem to happen. i also freaked the first time it happened to me. who says it's normal? the company?

I have. It is normal.it makes my poop black, too, which is why I never take Pepto. I have! I have also never met anyone else who has had this problem. It really freaked me out the first time it happened. I suspect it is to do with the pink dye in it but I have no solid answer, sorry.
we used to do that on purpose to get out of school. if you chew enough tablets your tongue turns black.
I have heard that has happened to people, but I have never used the liquid kind.
