Is hair and skin colour important in surviving very hot and sunnt weather?

its the pigment in there skin it is closer to the surface of the skin blond and ginger people (like me) are more receptive to pain as well because the nerve endings are closer to the skin I'm no scientist but hoped i helped.

I dno I have VERY fair skin and blond hair and I burn pretty esily too so..
i think yuo've got a point what i do know is that black ppl r less likely to get sun burnt and less likely to get skin cancer .. on the flip side as you know the fairer ur skin the more likely u r to get sun burnt

I BELEIVE THE FAIRER YOU ARE THE MORE LIKELY YOU ARE TO BURN QUICKER.YOU NEED A HIGH FACTOR SUN CREAM.YOUR SKIN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A TAN.GOOD LUCK.
