How do you treat migraines and visual disturbances?

Question:
Any one get them?

Answers:
I get them often. It begins with an aura. A small spot of shimmering light that gets bigger until it seems to be a "c" shape that covers half of my vision. It gradually moves to the side and then disappears. the headache follows. I also get slightly confused and sometimes say the wrong words. I usually take Advil at the first sign of an attack . I still don't know what triggers mine. I am sensitive to light and sound even when I'm not having a migraine. I am also irritated by crowds and confusion. You do learn to deal with them . Good luck.

Other Answers:
go to an eye specialist, you may have cateract or glacuma, etc any way it could cause blindness so make an appointment.

I get both but just ignore them these days.I used to worry about them and take all sorts of things though nothing seemed to work. Now I just ignore them and they go away of thier own accord eventually! Migraine medication and lying down & trying to sleep in a silent, dark & cool room, with a bucket near you so you can throw up.
Once it goes you must eat even if its only a bowl of cereal
