What happens if I drink the black particles from a tap that has been filtered using Activated Carbon + filter?

Question: I recently have one Activated Carbon filter installed in my kitchen tap about 1 month ago. Sometimes, I do see some black tiny bits of flake (as small as a tiny piece of salt) in my water.

What would happen if I had drank the tiny particles found in my drink?

It is just Carbon, it might clean you out a bit, but that is it. You may get a litlle Nausea and a little Diahea. That tiny amount shuoldn;t matter though

In the military, they tell us to eat it if we eat something poisonous or encounter Chemical warfare.

nothing.they are part of the filter system which contains charcoal, and they won't hurt you.

At the most, it will clean your guts a little. Otherwise, nothing. It's just a little carbon and won't hurt you. BTW, you're supposed to run it for several minutes after installing a new filter to get the loose particles out.
