how do you get the itch out of Mosquitoe bites?

Okay, this works. bare w/ me while I try to explain. LOL!

My husband, learned this while he was in the Marine Corps years ago..

Take your finger nail. and press hard into the mosquitoe bite - then cross it again. you will push hard enough to make an X on the bite.

Make since? LOL! Sounds nuts, but it works!!

Yeah. Its going to itch, just don't scratch it. And I think the more you leave it alone, the faster it will heal. cortisone cream or alcohol


Alcohol seems to help. Also calamine lotion or Benadryl Clear Liquid. .


As nutty as this sounds, it works.take your finger nail and mark an X in the bubble left from the bite..viola..itch free!

Tea Tree oil will stop the itch and swelling. baking soda

We have found that Sea Breeze astringent works great. It is sold in drug stores as a facial cleanser. It has camphor in it which seems to be the itch reliever. It works for flea bites, minor spider bites, etc.

My mother who is 94, has used Sea Breeze for this purpose for at least 40 years.

CLEAR FINGURE NAIL POLISH IS THE BEST IT CUTS OFF OXYGEN TO THE ITCH AND IT WILL STOP . WILL BURN FOR LIKE 10 SEC THOUGH. Don't scratch at them. Put an anti-itch cream on them so they won't itch too much.


I use Witch Hazel and the homeopathic remedy Ledum. or Staphysagria if the Ledum doesn't work. Taking 1,000 mg. dose of vitamin C helps, too.
