i have a ringin in my ears all the time what is that caused by?

You've got tinnitus. I have it too. There's nothing to cure it, although there's some new herbal type pill that claims to reduce the ringing. I don't believe it. I've had tinnitus since I was a child. It came from a very severe dual ear infection that damaged my eardrums. At night, it's the worst due to the silence. I meditate to help ignore the ringing & to relax into sleep. I've been told one day, I'll have to wear hearing aids. I get my hearing checked every 6 months too. I've got 9% hearing loss in both ears & I'm just 33.

mmm.. my dad had it too. Take Gingko Biloba, a type of herb. Comes in capsule form and see a doctor too.

Maybe you are experiancing audio hallucinations. I heard things little hallucinations like that come before psychosis (or schizophera)

It's called tinitus. I have it, it does get better, mine did. Mine was caused by a firework going off to close to my ear. Try to sleep with a fan in your room. That helps.
