Why from any age only few people live to be a hundred or more?

Question:
What age is more likely a person is to die! e.g., from 70 - 80.

Answers:
Our natural aging process means that our body begins to get vulnerable at around 70-80 on average. However every one ages at different rates, depending on genes, life styles, food etc, and even luck to some extent.
Cells are turning over all the time, and cancer is almost a natural consequence of "accidents" in the turnover process, a gene switches off, and cells form tumours, etc.. The older we getr the more common this becomes.
We also become more susceptible to infection, as our immune system declines.

From an evolutionary point of view, once we have had children and procreated the species, living too long just drains resources, so a species is stronger if it's elders die off .
I think more like 60 -70.
