My swollen leg has gotten better. how long will it get back to normal?

Question: A few weeks ago i put up a question about my swollen leg, and someone suggested that i should get it circulating by working out on a stationary bike. and i have for 3 weeks. My leg has gotten softer. does that mean it's circulating? and if so. how long will it take for my leg to get back to normal?

My leg is swollen from my hip to my toes. the doctor said i have a tissue compressing my vein, thats why there is no circulation. i had surgery but it wasnt successful. after all that the doctor said i just need to give it sometime for it to heal.
