I've been taking steriods for about 3 weeks to help with a rash, but now I got knee joint cramps that HURT.

Question: I been to the dr.'s 3 weeks in a row and they up the dosage of the steroid to 60 mg. I noticed my ankles were slightly sore yesterday. Last night I woke up with the worst knee cramps I have ever had and they still ache now. Is that normal for steroids to make your joints hurt? And if so how long will this last? Should I go back to the Dr.'s? Thank You So Much for any help.

YES!! Go back to the Dr. ASAP and tell him about this right away. Sometimes it is okay depending on the steroid and sometimes it means a serious complication.
