That is an upper respiratory infection that spread into the ear canal. You can drink some echinase tea, that should help, but for the ear I wouldn't play around because it is possible for people to go deaf. Go see a dr.

I just got over one and i will not mess with my ears where i've had very bad ear infections before.

Symptoms of a middle ear infection (otitis media) often start 2 to 7 days after a cold or other upper respiratory infection. Symptoms of an ear infection may include:

Ear pain (mild to severe). Babies often pull or tug at their ears when they have an earache. When the fluid in the middle ear builds up, the eardrum may burst (rupture). Once it ruptures, the fluid drains, and the pain usually stops. The hole in the eardrum often heals by itself in a few weeks.
Fever.
Drainage from the ear that is thick and yellow. Blood in this fluid can mean the eardrum has ruptured.
Loss of appetite, vomiting, and grumpy behavior.
Trouble sleeping.
Possible loss of hearing.
If your throat hurts its probably the cause of the ear ache. try taking some ibuprofen to take down the pain and swelling. If that doesnt work you can gargle warm salt water, but leave your ear alone. If your throat starts to feel better and your ear still hurts go to the clinic cuz you could have tonsilitis which is inflammation and stuff with the tonsils which can also irritate your eardrums and inner ear canal. Good luck and feel better.
It sounds to me that you have an ear infection and you need to go to the hospital as soon as possible.
garggle with salt water and go see a dr sounds like you have a middle ear infection. lay on the side that hurts with a warm compress or hot water bottle to help drain sopme of the infection out take advil or such for pain and inflamation. FEEL BETTER!
I just recovered from a problem similar to yours. Didn't want to go to Dr. (hastle, plus felt too sick to get out of bed and go) Waited for it to "Go away" After ten days friends TOLD me to go to my PCP, even dirty-just throw something on. Was glad I did, it wasn't just a virus that would eventually go away, while I coped with OTC remedies. It was a Bacterial infection and I needed an antibiotic to stop it from getting even worse. Suggest Dr. or walk in clinic ASAP. I felt better in two days, even though I needed to take the antibiotic for a course of seven days. It seems like everyone I know is coming down with similar maladies recently. Hope you take care of yourself an feel better soon!

P.S. It was the laringytis that finally got to me I coulnd't talk, and hated that even though friends and family enjoyed it for a while. Good Luck, and get well soon.
You most likely have an ear infection, or a cold coming on. For your throat look for cepitol throat drops, and to aid your ear, clean it well and pack it with cotton balls. If you do not see improvment in a few days, go see a doctor. While an ear ache is minnor, it can get worse and lead to most severe problems, so don't hessitate to see a doc if it doesn't improve in about a week.
