Where can you get cheap but good eyeglass frames?

Question: Eyeglass stores invariably rip you off with huge markups (like 1000%) on eyeglass frames, but it has proven very difficult to find alternate sources for good-quality eyeglass frames at much more reasonable markups.

Walmart, or if you find a good deal like a one time sale somewhere else. Actually you can also buy peoples old frames on ebay and switch out the lenses if you're really thrifty.
