Blood Sample vs Urine Sample?
My doctor always asks for a urine sample when I get a physical and I always claim that I don't have to go. So she takes a blood sample instead. I dont mind the needle so I'm ok with it. Is the information in the blood sample the same as a urine sample? What's the difference? Why is it so important for a urine sample?

Answers:
It depends on what they're testing. However, if they can do the test on urine, they try to because so many people hate getting their blood drawn. The results are generally the same, but it really depends on what they are testing.

If i take 4 aleve every 12 hrs instead of 2 will it help my pain without making me sick?
It is a bit different. But for whatever they want both are suitable. The doc was probably annoyed with you and though youd prefer peeing over getting blood drawn.
