Is a Staple in my Finger Serious?

Question:
I was messing around shooting staples. I held it too high one time and stapled my pointer finger. Only one side of the staple went in, so I was able to pull it out. It hurts pretty bad for a little cut, and its blue around where it is. I don' think its a big deal, but my mom is acting like its gonna kill me. Should I worry?

Answers:
If the area becomes red, swollen, and painful it is probably infected. Infections in the tip of the finger can be difficult to treat. The blue discoloration is probably just a little bleeding.not to worry
When is the last time you had a tetanus shoot? Figure that out than stop playing around with tools.didn't your parents teach you tools are not toys :)
The only thing that could be worrisome is if the staple was a bit rusty. If so, then you should probably get a tetanus shot just in case.
Hopefully your tetanus vaccine is up to date. If it gets infected, then it could be serious. Also, there are lots of nerves in your fingers, depends on the area you stapled.
no you should not worry it happened to me once and i am fine but it was not blue.
No but if it very in there you may need to peell some of your skin with a twisswr then get it out if it still don't work then go to the hospitol and they will take it out and no pain happens
You might want to worry if you haven't had a tetnus shot. but, just clean it, bandage it and put some ice on it. If it gets worse see a doctor.
nah its happened to me before. just wash it off with some hot water and some alcohol swabs., and put a band-aid on it. My mom was pissed too, but its just their nature to worry :D. within a couple days it should heal up.
Umm idk.but I would recommend you dont play with staplers anymore
