Ears stopped up and aching?

Question:
Myears have been giving me trouble for a while, but it recently got worse. They are constantly stopped up. If I yawn or move my jaw, it stops, but a second later they are stopped up again. They also ache really bad, especially when someone talks loudly. Some times, its a dull ache in my eas and upper neck, then it's a really piercing pain that comes from the middle of my head. This summer before its gotten worse, my doctor told me it was from blowing my nose, and that holding my nose and blowing will help, but it didn't. I haven't had a cold since early July, but my ears have gotten worse.

Answers:
Your ears may need to be irrigated. The nurse flushes warm water into your ear and it flushes out the wax buildup. The doctor told me that when the wax gets wet like from swimming, it expands and blocks the ear way. I couldn't believe the amount of wax that came out of my ear. I had to put peroxide into my ear for a few days before to soften the wax.
Go see an ear nose and throat specialist.
I would recommend you see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. It could be allergies or a low-lying infection. The pain you describe comes from your eustacian tubes which run from your ear down into your throat. If you have swelling in those tubes or in your tonsils, you will experience stopped up ears and pain. An ENT would be most qualified to help you. You can likely count on being given a prescription for a nasal spray and possibly antibiotics. Good luck.
You may have an ear disorder called Tinnitus.that is my guess from the ringing. You could also have a "middle ear infection"
Girl, you'd better get to a specialist, like a eyes, ears, nose & throat doctor before it gets worse. Oh, by the way, if your balance is off that might be another symptom of inner ear infection. They need to be drained. The Tinnitus is caused by loud noise - like too high decibels from music and such.
Start out by making a quick visit to your chiropractor for an adjustment. If the problem remains more than 48 hours afterwards, make a doctor's appointment.
