Are you happy with your health insurance?
Question:
Answers:
Can anyone be happy with health insurance? Premiums are way too high and co-pays are high as well. It's hard to find a good doctor and when you do his hands are constantly tied by the insurance approval. They look at money completely!

Yup mine is great i get it through my company and the boss pays everything $20 co pay Blue Cross PPO
I'd be happier if it weren't so expensive. I pay for it myself and right now its the second biggest monthly expense, after rent. My co-pay is $15, and I have a $100 deductible for prescriptions. Not!
PHCS. That should tell you enough!
Construction worker, can't afford what thay want!! Absolutely, if I only use it for emergency purposes only. In my opinion, they are not helpful for anything else, because they push drugs and cover up the real symptoms of a problem. But they do come in handy when you have a broken arm or something. I wouldn't be without it.
I can't afford health insurance.
I go to the health clinic and health dept.
Absolutely. We are covered through my job, and while it does take a chunk out of my salary (approximately $200/mo), it ended up being well worth it. My son ended up spending his entire life in the hospital (2 months), had 2 surgeries (1 major), 6 rounds of chemotherapy, blood transfusions nearly every day, and we never once paid a single cent. The only "bill" we ever saw was the itemized list we received for the first hospital that he was at, because it was a hospital owned by someone other than Kaiser. This was before the surgeries, before the chemo, and only 10 days staying there, and it was already $100,000. We were always treated very well, my son had access to every doctor he ever needed, instantly. He had at least 5 different specialists that saw him on a daily basis. My husband and I have also had great experiences, though neither of us had the health issues my son had. As long as we are treated this well, I'm not sure we'll ever change.
We are covered under Kaiser Permanente.
I do recognize that not everyone has it this good, and before I had this job, I couldn't afford insurance. I think the system does need to be overhauled, but I do like the Kaiser model.
Yes. Mine has a $20 copay & $20 prescriptions.
