As long as you enjoy the tune and/or washing up, sounds like no prognosis is necessary. Of course, if it is whistling Yanni, I would have my whole ear removed. Good luck with all THAT. go to the doctors and get it checked out.
If you can hear something in your ear, washing up, whistling, then you need to go to a doctor who can either wash out your ear or refer you to a psychiatrist or both.
