Knee pain,No fracture but pain is ther?

Question:
I fell riding a motocycle and hurt my knee.I have taken an X-Ray,and everything seems to be fine, but ther is pain.
I go for a jog everyday and play football. Please let me know as why the pain is ther, and what precautions should I take?Is ther any good exercise for it?

Answers:
While the X-rays don't lie it doesn't mean that there isn't soft tissue damage or even a bruise on the bone (sprain). You should see a orthopaedic surgeon to see what can be done. A MRI could possibly tell what the true damage to the knee has been done.

Other Answers:
Could have bruised the cartalige in there, that's pretty painful. You could have snapped an ACL or LCL.
Might have done some over stretching damage to any of the five ligaments (in and around the knee)...or crushing damage.

Rest...and alternating ice/heat treatments. No more than fifteen minutes of either one at one time.
Anti-inflamatory drugs..like Iburprophen (advil)

Physical Therapy....

But I suggest you see an Orthopedist first!!
Maybe there is a minute tear on any of the tendons or ligaments surrounding your knee joint. There could also be a soft tissue swelling on the knee area thus causing the pain. Take any over the counter analgesic such as Tylenol or Advil. You can do Cold compress for the first 24 hours then hot compress for the next 24 hours. You can also use a soothing agent such as Bengay to give a temporary relief of the pain. It is prudent to rest your knee from any strenuous sports for the next 4 to 7 days. You can walk for now but no jogging. If after 7 days the condition doesn;t improve, go see as a Rheumatologist, or an Orthopedic surgeon and have your knees evaluated.
have you tried acupuncture ( Chinese needles)
have you want to a joint doc it could be the tissue under you cap
Don't worry, your knee just sustained bone contusion due from motorcycle accident. The pain, sometimes excruciating, is just normal because some of the tissues and muscles in your knee were hit. Jogging or walkathon would help. I would also recommend stretching to condition and relax your muscles not only for your aching knee but as a whole process. Take time to rest after jogging or playing for your muscles and nerves to be relaxed before taking a shower. Do the process until you are fully recovered.
x-rays do not show everything in the knee...follow up with an orthopedic dr. stretching before and after playing football can help, and ice after also!
there are nerves in the bone, the force of the blow may have destroyed a few of them, you might have to get used to it
you may try putting a detox patch on your knee, while sleeping for atleast 10-12 hrs.for atleast one weak.i think the main may subside.i tried on my knee, and now i have no problem.
hummm leme think
I think you should continue with more rest. Give a break to your knee for couple of months/days and resume your regular routine but if you need medicine you can try this website http://www.qualitygenerics.com/index.php?ref=hitenlakra
i have constant knee pain and its arthritis and a sports injury on one knee i see a dr once a month to get pain meds for it and in sept i see a specialist for cortizone shots and maybe surgery if this all sounds familiar then see your dr again for more options
Your muscles are sore, soak that body of yours and if it feel like your bones are broken have sex this is one of the greatest exercises and if anything is broken that the x-rays missed your bones will pop back into place.
Most injuries are accompanied by edema.. the knee, because of the need for mobility, has little time for that edema to dissipate. You would be aware of a feeling of tightness and reduced range of motion, just from the swelling within the joint.
