Question:
always complains of having a sore stomach and takes diarrohea and says he feels sick do you think it is just the nerves of going ot a new school or could something really be wrong with him I have tried to take him to the doctors but he just goes into a bundle of nerves

Answers:
Poor guy...I feel his pain. I did the same thing....even as an adult. I finally got tired of dealing with it and the doctor gave me Librax...it helped some. All three of my kids have nervous stomach symptoms....my l2 yr. old sucked on a peppermint every morning before fifth grade...and this year she is at a new school....but she seems to be doing better. When I get lilke that, I have to talk to myself to get thru it....I have even brought a bible with me in route to my job and put my hand on it for comfort....and prayed I didn't use the bathroom on myself....it is so difficult. I teach school also. And many kids have that problem. Because I have it myself, I am sensitive to it. Get the school counselor to talk to him. Find other kids that do the same thing and start a support group. Is it IBS....irritable bowel syndrome? Ask the doctor....a friend of mine had a daughter that missed so much of first grade because of her nervous stomach that she failed. Get him some help...teach him to talk his way thru it and to think positive....he needs to find a way to calm himself....tell his teachers in private....so that they will be aware of it when they call on him in class or ask him to talk in front of the class....Willard Scott and Donny Osmond both have this same thing....and they go on tv everyday....let your son know of people like that who get nervous too....don't let him think he is weird or the only one. Hope he gets better.
My brother does this too and I honestly did the exact same thing, but personally I did it because I hated school and was constantly bullied. He might be having some issues with other children or tutors you should probably consider asking him or possibly asking one of his tutors if they have seen anything wrong. Good luck.
