Has anyone ever had an instability in there back and has had surgery for it? Is so did it work ?

Question: I have been told that my spine is shifting and the only thing to fix it is to have surgery. I am a little worried about having surgery. I have never known anyone with this condition. So if you have or have had it please respond.

If you're talking like rods and pins and fusion.seriously get a 2nd opinion.

My sister has had 3 unsuccessful back surgeries. It's ruined her life.
