A strange bruise?

Question:
Ok, so on the top of my arm (the humerous part, where the bicept is) I had a small black/bluish bruise that slightly hurt. I don't know where it came from, but I thought, it's so small, random bruises happen, et cetera. Now, over night it grew! and I mean grew to covering the large portion of my arm (about the size of a tennis ball) and it was mostly red in color with a little blue at the end. Now today, (only painful when I press it) it seems to have developed very small spots which are dark blue, they resemble goosebumps or hair follicles but the surface is smooth and not bumpy. I know, I know I should see a doctor, but at first I would like to check and see if any of you have any good insight on what this is/what's causing it.

Answers:
In some cases bruises that appear for no reason can be due to anemia, low iron or hemophilia. However, its rare if it keeps growing definantly see a doctor but it it changes color to a yellowish brown you're ok it's healing. If you continue to get random bruises and you have no idea where they came from then I would worry about something like hemophilia. Otherwise you should be fine!
You poor beautiful lady :(, call your doctor. I honestly don't know sweety.
Yea I think the doctor would know.but yea that is a little weird. Maybe it's an infection of some sort?
I have had that happen on my arm too. It is just a normal bruise which you obviously did something and did not even notice it. It will go away, and I don't think it is anything worth seeing a doctor over.
