Okay so Iwas warmed up and I did the splits. I think I may have pulled a muscle in my thigh?


Question:
do you think I should try to tough it out and do the performance even if I can barely walk or what?
I can't lift my leg to even a 45 degree angle and I can't run
What do I do?

Answers:
Rest in a hot tub with epsom salt and take it easy for a couple of days.you pulled a muscle and it will heal.
next time do your stretches before attemtting the splits. In gymnastics they always told us to warm up first before doing the good stuff.
Ouch! If it's just a pulled muscle a doctor vist is most likely not needed. However, rest and hot or cold compressions still need to be applied they will help the pain. As for the performance you could risk a pulled muscle becoming a torn ligament and doing permanent damage.
Take care of yourself first and if you are in pain i'd sit this one out!
