Can anyone give me some feedback on magnetic matresses?

I WENT TO A SEMINAR AND THE GUY WHO WAS SELLING THEM SAYS tHEY CURE JUST ABOUT EVERY DISORDER AND DISEASE THROUGH CIRCULATION OF THE BLOOD AND THE IRON IN THE BLOOD.. THEY AREN'T RECCOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO WHERE PACEMAKERS OR ANTHING WITH A BATTERY IN IT LKIE THAT.

i've been wondering about the magnetic mattress pads myself. apparently the earth used to have a magnetic pull of 4.0 (gauss, or something like that) now the pull is 0.4. the pad is supposed to restore us to that state. it's supposed to be good for pain, restore cells, bring more oxygen to the body, and be very alkaline for the body. the more alkaline the body, the harder for illness to establish itself. years ago i had some friends who were into magnet therapy, but i couldn't afford the products. i'd like to know of any success/failure stories concerning the magnetic mattress pads. i'm thinking of trying one.
