Can carpel tunnel syndrome cause your upper arm to be sore and hurt?
Question:
Answers:
Yes definitely. The pain can go all the way up to your neck.
See a doctor.
Sounds more like rotator cuff tendonitis to me if it is your upper arms but your best bet is to get a proper diagnosis if it doens't get better.
I have had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists. Yes it can hurt your upper arm. See a doctor.
I agree with having it checked before self diagnoses.
I had pain in my shoulder and assumed it was a torn rotator cuff. It wasn't torn, but thru physical therapy exercises I do at home, I am pain free. By strengthening ALL the muscles around the shoulder area, the rotator cuff isn't carrying the load, so to speak.
Have a physical therapist explain how these muscles/tendons work and it all makes sense!
