Some interesting things I've read in health news lately:

Studies show that diabetes puts people at an increased risk for alzheimer’s.

News and debate over the newly FDA approved HPV vaccine.

Debate over stem cell research in the Senate.

There is also a lot of new stuff out there about natural disasters and public health--2 tsunamis, Katrina & Rita, earthquake in Pakistan, etc.

Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the NYTimes have good health related news articles

I am so surprised that no one has posted a question about it on here. I am a public health coordinator, dealing with pandemic flu and avian flu. People should be worried, it is more likely to happen than a bioterroism attack, but in other words, it will happen.
