As sticky as chewing gum might appear to be outside the body, once it's sent down the alimentary canal it's no more remarkable in that respect than most anything else we swallow.
Gum is eliminated as human waste in the same way — and at the same rate — as any other swallowed matter. Granted, it comes out the far end relatively unchanged by the trip, but it does come out on schedule.

if you sallow a Penny don't it come out ok!! I don't think so although when i was little my mum and dad wouldn't let me have gum in case i swallowed and they told me all sorts of horror stories so i am still very cagey about swallowing it.
No, although that's funny. Remember gum is made of the same things in other foods. It's not a separate non-food item. It degrades in your body like any other food.
I don't believe it will stay with you forever. Your stomach has a lot of stomach acid and bile in it that will desolve the gum.

Very unlikely. Even the cells lining the alimentary canal are subject to wear and tear, so there seems to be nothing to stick or cling onto permanently. My informed guess is that the chewing gum residue, like all inedible material will pass through, probably within about 24 hours.
when we were kids we thought it would wrap itself around your heart and stop it beating ... obviously it never did any harm whatsoever
