if a person has had an anaphylatic reaction how is it that the blood tests come back negative?

Question:
anaphylatic shock taken to hospital given the drugs by paramedics nebulised blood tests done but they came back alright

Answers:
Anaphylaxis is a severe and rapid systemic allergic reaction. Anaphylaxis occurs when a person is exposed to a trigger substance, called an allergen, to which they have become sensitized. Minute amounts of allergens may cause a anaphylactic reaction. Anaphylaxis may occur after ingestion, inhalation, skin contact or injection of an allergen.

What test(s) did they do? Have you had allergy tests done? If you did indeed suffer an anaphylactic shock, you should see a doctor and get an Epinephrine syringe to carry with you. My daughter's allergic to insect stings and always has one when she's outside.

Other Answers:
If the person was treated successfully, (ie tif they're still alive), then that means whatever was in their blood that triggered the attack was probably eradicated.
Or maybe it was just something they couldn't or didn't screen for.
Just be thankful I'd say.
may be the wrong blood test
