Can I get a shower with an open wound?

Question: Its a really deep scrape and hit hasen't even scabbed over yet. Would it be bad to get soap etc in it? Painful? Should i tie a plastic bag around it or something?

Answers:
I don't think it would be too painful to wash it with soap, but you can try. To be safe, when you get out of the shower, clean the wound even more with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.

No just don't have the water too hot or it will really sting! No need to rub or wash it with a washcloth and soap, just wash around it, and let the water run over it.
