I'm 35 and ever since I can remember, I have had dreams almost every night. They use to be really bad most of the time when I was younger. If your talking any kind of medicines, that could make them worse too.,. but I have found that if I eat later in the evening, I have bad dreams. Even if I drink anything that has alot of sugar in it in the evenings, my dreams will be worse. If their too the point to where their waking you up and disturbing your sleep, you might want to call your local doctor and see what he says, but in the mean time, try not eating or drinking anything close to the time that your going to bed and see if that helps you. It hasn't made my deams stop, but at least their not baad dreams now. People will tell you all kinds of myths, like "oh, you just have too much on your mind" or its because your stressed out, but they fail to hear you when you say that you've had the dreams your whole life. I don't know about you, but I wasn't a stressed out child.. ya know?? ;) Try what I said,, and cut out food and drinks in the pm,, mainly stuff with alot of sugar.!! Good luck!! ;)

Alcohol. Lots of it.

But mainly, work through the problem. Work out the source of these nightmares and face up to them. Are you currently taking meds? some meds can cause nightmares in certain people.
