do i need to see the doctor?

Question: was at work yesterday,angle grinding for about 5 minutes.i wasnt wearing ear muffs and now my ear is ringing since then with slight hearing loss.its only affected one ear.the ear is not painful.do you think it could be a ruptured ear drum and will it heal itself.would just like to know has any1 ever experienced this.
