what is the best thing to put on a minor burn?

Question:
i accidently burnt my hand on the oven when taking out my pizza.so i was wondering what to put on it to ease the burning pain?

Answers:
I use Aloe if I have nothing else but there's some stuff called CALMOSEPTINE that is over the counter and works great I've burned my leg on my bike and it healed it up without leaving a scar. Calmoseptine is good for lots of stuff like diaper rash poison ivy or sumac, even on cuts. You can also use LIDOCAINE which will stop the pain almost immediately , Neosporin w/ pain relief has lidocaine in it. DO NOT use butter or any thing w/ grease or petroleum in it that will hold the heat and cause the burn to get worse

Other Answers:
aloe

The best remedy is the old fashion way as my grandmother puts it go to your sink and run your burn with very cold water. It will relieve the pain in no time flat.

apply ice for instant relief.
once the immediate burning sensation goes away, consult you doctor who can recommend medicated gels..

In addition, regularly apply coconut oil after a day or two to avoid any burn marks.

NEOSPORIN PLUS PAIN CREAM. THE PAIN RELIEVER IS COMBINED WITH THE ANTIBIOTIC AND THE CREAM DRIES UNLIKE PETROLEUM BASED OINTMENT.

crushed ice.get a Ziploc bag and pour in some crushed ice, or frozen veggies. Keep applying the ice to the burn. Aloe will help your skin once the pain is gone. Used it on a nasty sunburn just this week. Fresh Aloe Vera plant, if you have one.
If not buy some gel from the chemist.

Try Aloe vera it always helps me also i was told not to put ice on it because it can make the pain worst ice or soak it in cold water. Keep it covered later. Try some kind of spray like those used for suburn. Watch fofr inflammation.
